The popular embossing technique is ideal for giving your business card a modern look. If it is combined with other techniques, such as hot foil stamping, the embossing will transform a perfect print into luxury.
We create the mold, which consists of two metal plates (embossed and incused),that bear the text or graphic we want to print. If we want embossed printing, we place the paper between the 2 plates with the incused one on top and the embossed one below the paper. If we want incused printing, we simply place the embossed plate on top of the paper. Heat and pressure imprint our graphics onto the paper.
If we don't use colour or some FOIL, we get a blind embossing!
